Zhongxin Chuangwei provides clock synchronization equipment to the Urumqi Power Bureau.

Zhongxin Chuangwei provides clock synchronization equipment to the Urumqi Power Bureau.

Recently, the Urumqi Power Bureau issued a request for time servers. Beijing Zhongxin Chuang Company responded proactively by preparing a detailed proposal and recommending its self-developed and manufactured DNTS‑9 time server as the bid‑winning product. Following a fiercely competitive bidding process, Zhongxin Chuang stood out thanks to its high‑quality products and comprehensive after‑sales service, ultimately securing the Urumqi Power Bureau’s time‑server project.

State Grid Urumqi Power Supply Company was established in 1956, with registered capital of RMB 155 million, and is a key enterprise under State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Company. Its total assets amount to RMB 4.101 billion. The company employs 1,654 full-time staff (including those from collective enterprises), with an average age of 41.8 years; among them, 350 are from ethnic minority groups, accounting for 21.16% of the total workforce. The company comprises 12 functional departments, 6 business support and implementation units, 4 county-level subsidiaries, and one collective enterprise. It is responsible for the construction and operation of the power grid in Urumqi City—covering seven districts, one county, and three national-level development zones—as well as in Wujiaqu City and the Sixth and Twelfth Divisions of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. Its service area spans approximately 20,000 square kilometers, serving more than 960,000 electricity customers.

The Urumqi Electric Power Bureau conducted an in-depth evaluation of the DNTS‑9 time server, independently developed by Zhongxin Chuang. The results consistently exceeded the specified performance parameters, and the bureau expressed high satisfaction with both our product quality and after-sales service, leading to a successful procurement and deployment.

The DNTS-9 network time server, developed by Beijing Zhongxinchuang Technology Co., Ltd., is an intelligent, high-precision NTP network time server. The DNTS-9 obtains standard time information from navigation and positioning satellite systems such as GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and Galileo, and provides standard time services over the network via NTP/SNTP or other network protocols. Devices in the network that require time synchronization—such as personal computers, servers, and controllers—can synchronize with international standard time.

When used in conjunction with GNSS satellite receivers, priority can be configured; the system supports single‑receiver/dual‑receiver and single‑antenna/dual‑antenna configurations, with each receiver capable of operating in standalone or combined timing modes. If both receivers and all other available time sources lose signal, the DNTS‑9 relies on its built-in temperature‑compensated crystal oscillator or rubidium atomic clock to maintain accurate timekeeping, while continuously providing time services to external users.

In addition to serving as a primary‑level network time‑synchronization device, the DNTS‑9 can also function as a secondary‑level time server, enabling more effective time synchronization in large‑scale network environments. It provides high‑precision standard time signals for systems such as distributed networks, computer security systems, file management systems, e‑commerce platforms, online B2B systems, and cloud database storage and maintenance. The DNTS‑9 has been successfully deployed across government, finance, mobile telecommunications, public security, petroleum, power, transportation, industrial, and defense sectors.

The DNTS-9 network time server is extremely easy to install and use: simply connect the satellite receiving antenna and plug the network port into a network switch, and you can achieve time synchronization across all devices on the network.

Client software

Provides NTP‑based time‑synchronization software for Windows, running as a service. Client support includes operating systems such as Windows 98, NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, and others.

Centralized management software

Overview: The DNTS-Manager centralized management software not only enables easy remote network login, monitoring, management, configuration, and maintenance, but also allows real-time monitoring of time synchronization on both NTP servers and clients, supporting simultaneous monitoring of thousands of NTP servers and tens of thousands of client devices.

Client: request interval, deviation exceeding the threshold, request timeout, etc.

NTP Server: Monitors NTP server information, including uptime, synchronization status, network parameters, satellite time, server time, and synchronization with the reference source.

Alerts: Alerts can be generated via protocols such as Syslog, SNMP, and email, and you can configure alert types, severity levels, and other parameters to customize the reporting criteria.

Statistics: Records all time‑synchronization logs and alarm logs, storing them separately, and aggregates statistics on the number of clients, their IP addresses, and the request records for each IP.
Security: Various management channels can be configured with strong encryption and enabled with certificate-based authentication, ensuring that communication content cannot be intercepted or stolen, and preventing malicious tampering with device configurations that could cause network-wide failures, thereby enhancing network security.
