Zhongxin Chuangwei provides clock synchronization server equipment to Peking University Third Hospital.

Recently, Peking University Third Hospital issued a request for a time server. Beijing Zhongxin Chuang promptly collaborated to develop a detailed proposal and recommended its independently developed and manufactured DNTS‑9 time server as the bid‑winning product. Following a fiercely competitive bidding process, Zhongxin Chuang stood out thanks to its high‑quality products and comprehensive after‑sales service, securing the contract for the hospital’s Beidou timing equipment project.

Peking University Third Hospital (referred to as “PKU Third Hospital”) was founded in 1958. It is a hospital under the direct administration of the National Health Commission, integrating medical care, education, scientific research, preventive health services, rehabilitation, and health management into one comprehensive Grade III Class A hospital. As of December 2022, the hospital had an average of 2,332 open beds. In 2021, PKU Third Hospital was selected as one of the first 14 pilot hospitals nationwide for high-quality development of public hospitals. The hospital currently employs one academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, two academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, one foreign associate of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, one fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, one academician from a developing country, eight recipients of the National Natural Science Foundation’s Outstanding Young Scientists Fund, one Innovation Leader designated by the Ministry of Science and Technology, one Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Science and Technology’s “973” Program, three individuals included in the national “New Century Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talents Project,” six recipients of the National Natural Science Foundation’s Excellent Young Scientists Fund, two participants in the Ministry of Science and Technology’s Young Talent Program under the National High-Level Talent Program, one young top-tier talent under the Ten-Thousand Talents Program, 16 provincial- or ministerial-level high-caliber professionals, 26 provincial- or ministerial-level young high-caliber talents, and 11 experts recognized for their outstanding contributions by the Ministry of Health.

Peking University Third Hospital conducted an in-depth evaluation of the DNTS‑9 time server independently developed by Zhongxin Chuang, and the results all exceeded the specified performance requirements. The hospital also expressed high satisfaction with our product quality and after-sales service, resulting in a successful procurement and deployment.

The DNTS-9 network time server, developed by Beijing Zhongxinchuang Technology Co., Ltd., is an intelligent, high-precision NTP network time server. The DNTS-9 obtains standard time information from navigation and positioning satellite systems such as GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and Galileo, and provides standard time services over the network via NTP/SNTP or other network protocols. Devices in the network that require time synchronization—such as personal computers, servers, and controllers—can thereby synchronize with international standard time.

When used in conjunction with GNSS satellite receivers, priority can be configured; the system supports single‑receiver/dual‑receiver and single‑antenna/dual‑antenna configurations, with each receiver capable of operating in either standalone or combined timing modes. If both receivers—and all other available time sources—lose signal, the DNTS‑9 relies on its built-in temperature‑controlled crystal oscillator or rubidium atomic clock to maintain accurate timekeeping, while continuously providing time services to external users.

In addition to serving as a primary‑level network time‑synchronization device, the DNTS‑9 can also function as a secondary‑level time server, enabling more effective time synchronization in large‑scale network environments. It provides high‑precision standard time signals for systems such as distributed networks, computer security systems, file management systems, e‑commerce platforms, online B2B systems, and cloud database storage and maintenance. The DNTS‑9 has been successfully deployed across government, finance, mobile telecommunications, public security, petroleum, power, transportation, industrial, and defense sectors.

The DNTS-9 network time server is extremely easy to install and use: simply connect the satellite receiving antenna and plug the network port into a network switch to enable time synchronization across all devices on the network.

Client software Provides NTP‑based time‑synchronization software for Windows, running as a service. Client support includes operating systems such as Windows 98, NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, and Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, among others.
Centralized management software

Overview: The DNTS-Manager centralized management software not only enables easy remote network login, monitoring, management, configuration, and maintenance, but also allows real-time monitoring of time synchronization on both NTP servers and clients, supporting simultaneous monitoring of thousands of NTP servers and tens of thousands of client devices.

Client: request intervals, deviation limits exceeded, request timeouts, etc.

NTP Server: Monitors NTP server information, including uptime, synchronization status, network parameters, satellite time, server time, and synchronization with the reference source.

Alerts: Alerts can be generated via protocols such as Syslog, SNMP, and email, and you can configure alert types, severity levels, and other parameters to customize the reporting criteria.

Statistics: Records all time‑synchronization logs and alarm logs, storing them separately; also tallies the number of clients, their IP addresses, and the request records for each IP.
Security: Various management channels can be configured with strong encryption and enabled with certificate-based authentication, ensuring that communication content cannot be intercepted or stolen, and preventing malicious tampering with device configurations that could cause network-wide failures, thereby enhancing network security.
