Zhongxin Chuangwei provides a time synchronization server to Hangzhou Enhe Bio.

Zhongxin Chuangwei provides a time synchronization server to Hangzhou Enhe Bio.

Recently, Hangzhou Enhe Bio issued a request for a time server. Beijing Zhongxin Chuang promptly collaborated to develop a detailed proposal and recommended its self‑developed and manufactured DNTS‑8 time server as the bid‑winning product. Following a fiercely competitive bidding process, Zhongxin Chuang stood out thanks to its high‑quality products and comprehensive after‑sales service, ultimately securing the Hangzhou Enhe Bio time‑server project.

Enhe Bio, or Bota Bio, is a globally operating synthetic biology company. By building a standardized, automated high-throughput experimental platform—the Bio‑foundry—and leveraging bioinformatics and machine learning, the company conducts systematic, engineering‑driven modifications of living organisms. It is dedicated to developing efficient, green, low‑cost industrial biomanufacturing technologies suitable for large‑scale production, providing critical technological solutions across diverse sectors including chemicals, food, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture. The company’s core technologies and management team are drawn from top institutions such as MIT and Harvard, as well as leading companies in the synthetic biology field, including Amyris, Ginkgo Bioworks, Zymergen, and Codexis. Currently, Enhe Bio’s operations span three major areas—biocatalysis, bioconversion, and biosynthesis—with expertise spanning computational biology, strain engineering, and fermentation process development. Since its founding, the company has raised over US$145 million in total funding and was named one of MIT Technology Review’s “50 Smartest Companies” in 2020.

Hangzhou Enhe Bio conducted an in-depth evaluation of the DNTS-8 time server, independently developed by Zhongxin Chuang. The results exceeded all specified performance parameters, and the company expressed high satisfaction with both our product quality and after-sales service, proceeding to place a successful order and put the system into operation.

The DNTS-8 time server, developed by Beijing Zhongxinchuang Technology Co., Ltd., is a high-tech, intelligent, stand-alone clock synchronization server that operates based on the NTP/SNTP protocols and delivers high precision. The DNTS-8 time server acquires standard clock signal information from GPS geostationary satellites and transmits this information across the network, enabling devices requiring time signals—such as computers and controllers—to synchronize with the standard clock. When all receivers lose signal, the DNTS-8 relies on its built-in temperature-compensated crystal oscillator for timekeeping, achieving a timing accuracy of up to 1E-9. The DNTS-8 uses standard clock information transmitted over TCP/IP networks and supports multiple popular time‑broadcasting protocols, including NTP and time/UDP; it can also accommodate custom‑defined time‑broadcast packets with configurable UDP ports, as specified by Zhongxinchuang Technology. The port numbers for NTP and time/UDP are fixed at 123 and 37, respectively, as designated in RFC-123 and RFC-37. Additionally, the DNTS-8 supports the broadcast mode of the SNTP protocol.

Product dimensions 19-inch 1U
Receiver Built-in GPS receiver
Built-in clock Built-in temperature-compensated crystal oscillator; even when satellite signals are lost, it continues to output a standard time signal.
Liquid crystal display

LCD displays time in two lines of 20 characters each, showing the current time, the number of satellites, and the device’s operating status.

LEDs indicate power status, satellite lock status, holdover operation, alarms, and NTP validity.

Throughput Can handle 2,000 time requests per second per port.
Local Alarm Supports SNMP alarms, local dry-contact alarm output, current rating 10A.
