Congratulations to Changqing Petrochemical Procurement on the successful introduction of newly developed time synchronization equipment.

Recently, Changqing Petrochemical issued a procurement announcement for time servers. Beijing Zhongxin Chuang promptly collaborated to develop a detailed proposal for the client and recommended its independently developed and manufactured DNTS‑8 series as the bid‑winning product. Following a fiercely competitive bidding process, Zhongxin Chuang stood out thanks to its high‑quality products and comprehensive after‑sales service, ultimately securing the contract for Changqing Petrochemical’s time‑server project.

Recently, Changqing Petrochemical issued a procurement announcement for time servers. Beijing Zhongxin Chuang promptly collaborated to develop a detailed proposal for the client and recommended its independently developed and manufactured DNTS‑8 series as the bid‑winning product. Following a fiercely competitive bidding process, Zhongxin Chuang stood out thanks to its high‑quality products and comprehensive after‑sales service, ultimately securing the contract for Changqing Petrochemical’s time server project.

The company’s major production units—including a 5-million-ton-per-year atmospheric–vacuum distillation unit, a 1.4-million-ton-per-year heavy‑oil catalytic cracking unit, a 1.2-million-ton-per-year hydrocracking unit, a 40,000 standard cubic meters per hour hydrogen production unit, a 300,000-ton-per-year catalytic reforming unit, a 200,000-ton-per-year diesel hydrotreating unit, and a 153,000-ton-per-year jet fuel hydrotreating unit—all employ ABB’s advanced DCS computer‑based distributed control systems, which represent the state of the art at the end of the 1990s. With the exception of the wastewater treatment plant, auxiliary facilities are equipped with compact PLC‑based control systems. The company boasts sophisticated equipment and has been lauded by industry experts as a model among western refining and petrochemical enterprises. In 2003, it obtained ISO 9000 certification for its quality management system, and in 2004, it achieved ISO 14000 certification for its environmental management system. Furthermore, it has been designated by the State Personnel Department as an enterprise‑based postdoctoral research workstation.

Changqing Petrochemical conducted an in-depth evaluation of the DNTS-8 time server, independently developed by Zhongxin Chuang. The results consistently exceeded the specified performance parameters, and the company expressed high satisfaction with both our product quality and after-sales service, leading to a successful procurement and deployment.

The DNTS-8 time server, developed by Beijing Zhongxinchuang Technology Co., Ltd., is a high-tech, intelligent, stand-alone clock synchronization server that operates based on the NTP/SNTP protocols and delivers high precision. The DNTS-8 time server obtains standard clock signal information from GPS geostationary satellites and transmits this information across the network, enabling devices requiring time signals—such as computers and controllers—to synchronize with the standard clock. When all receivers lose signal, the DNTS-8 relies on its built-in temperature-compensated crystal oscillator for timekeeping, achieving a timing accuracy of up to 1E-9. The DNTS-8 uses standard clock information transmitted over TCP/IP networks and supports multiple popular time‑broadcasting protocols, including NTP and time/UDP; it can also accommodate custom‑defined time‑broadcast packets from Zhongxinchuang Technology via configurable UDP ports. The port numbers for NTP and time/UDP are fixed at 123 and 37, respectively, as specified in RFC-123 and RFC-37. Additionally, the DNTS-8 supports the broadcast mode of the SNTP protocol.
