Recently, the Karamay Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation Company in Xinjiang issued a tender for time servers. Beijing Zhongxin Chuang promptly collaborated to develop a detailed proposal and recommended its self‑developed and manufactured DNTS‑9 time server along with digital sub‑clocks as the bid‑eligible products. Following a fiercely competitive bidding process, Zhongxin Chuang stood out thanks to its high‑quality offerings and comprehensive after‑sales service, ultimately securing the contract for the time‑synchronization server project from the Karamay Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation Company.

The Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation Company is a specialized entity of the Xinjiang Oilfield responsible for the storage, transportation, and marketing of crude oil and natural gas. It operates 102 pipelines totaling 4,205 kilometers, spanning 14 prefectures and counties, 18 regimental farms, and more than 140 village-level units across northern Xinjiang. The company maintains 71 oil-and-gas handover stations, forming a backbone pipeline network that encircles the Junggar Basin. With a workforce of 1,194 employees, it is a diverse family comprising 14 ethnic groups, including Han, Uyghur, Kazakh, Hui, and Manchu. Over the years, it has been honored with numerous awards, such as the national “Contract‑Abiding and Credit‑Respecting” Enterprise, the National Advanced Unit for Corporate Culture Development, the National Ankang Cup Outstanding Enterprise, the National Advanced Collective for Safety Protection in Oil and Gas Fields and Pipeline Systems, the Karamay City Advanced Unit for the “Ethnic Unity—One Family” and Ethnic Unity Exchange (Harmony‑Building) Activities, and the Karamay City Demonstration Site for Promoting Ethnic Unity and Progress.

The Karamay Oil and Gas Storage & Transportation Company in Xinjiang conducted an in-depth evaluation of the DNTS‑9 time server independently developed by Zhongxin Chuang. The test results exceeded all specified performance parameters, and the company expressed high satisfaction with both the product’s quality and our after-sales service, proceeding to place a successful order and put the system into operation.

The DNTS-9 network time server, developed by Beijing Zhongxinchuang Technology Co., Ltd., is an intelligent, high-precision NTP network time server. The DNTS-9 obtains standard time information from navigation and positioning satellite systems such as GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and Galileo, and provides standard time services over the network via NTP/SNTP or other network protocols. Devices in the network that require time synchronization—such as personal computers, servers, and controllers—can thereby synchronize with international standard time.

When used in conjunction with GNSS satellite receivers, priority can be configured; the system supports single‑receiver/dual‑receiver and single‑antenna/dual‑antenna configurations, with each receiver capable of operating in either standalone or combined timing modes. If both receivers and all other available time sources lose signal, the DNTS‑9 relies on its built-in temperature‑compensated crystal oscillator or rubidium atomic clock to maintain accurate timekeeping, continuously providing time services to external users.

In addition to serving as a primary‑level network time‑synchronization device, the DNTS‑9 can also function as a secondary‑level time server, enabling more effective time synchronization in large‑scale network environments. It can provide precise, standardized time signals for systems such as distributed networks, computer security systems, file management systems, e‑commerce platforms, online B2B systems, and cloud database storage and maintenance. The DNTS‑9 has been successfully deployed across government, finance, mobile telecommunications, public security, petroleum, electric power, transportation, industrial, and defense sectors.

The DNTS-9 network time server is extremely easy to install and use: simply connect the satellite receiving antenna and plug the network port into a network switch to enable time synchronization across all devices on the network.

Client software

Provides NTP‑based time‑synchronization software for Windows, running as a service. Client support includes operating systems such as Windows 98, NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, and more.

Centralized management software

Overview: The DNTS-Manager centralized management software not only enables easy remote network login, monitoring, management, configuration, and maintenance, but also allows for real-time monitoring of time synchronization on both NTP servers and clients, supporting simultaneous monitoring of thousands of NTP servers and tens of thousands of client devices.

Client: request intervals, deviation limits exceeded, request timeouts, etc.

NTP Server: Monitors NTP server information, including uptime, synchronization status, network parameters, satellite time, server time, and synchronization with the reference source.

Alerts: Alerts can be generated via protocols such as Syslog, SNMP, and email, and you can configure alert types, severity levels, and other parameters to customize the reporting criteria.

Statistics: Records all time‑synchronization logs and alarm logs, storing them separately; also tallies the number of clients, their IP addresses, and the request records for each IP.

Security: All management channels can be configured with strong encryption and enabled with certificate-based authentication, ensuring that communication content cannot be intercepted or stolen, and preventing malicious tampering with device configurations that could cause network-wide failures, thereby enhancing network security.
