Developed by Beijing Zhongxinchuang Technology Co., Ltd. The DNTS-82-OGB time server is a high‑tech, intelligent, stand‑alone clock synchronization server that operates on the NTP/SNTP protocols and delivers high‑precision timekeeping. It acquires standard time‑signal data from GPS or BeiDou geostationary satellites and disseminates this information across the network, enabling devices requiring time synchronization—such as computers and controllers—to align with the reference clock. When both GPS and BeiDou receivers are in use, a priority can be configured; by default, BeiDou takes precedence, with GPS serving as a backup. If neither receiver receives a signal, the DNTS-82-OGB relies on its built‑in temperature‑compensated crystal oscillator for holdover, achieving a holdover accuracy of up to 1 × 10⁻⁹. The DNTS-82-OGB transmits standardized time information over TCP/IP networks and supports multiple popular time‑distribution protocols, including NTP and time/UDP. It also accommodates custom‑defined time‑broadcast packets via configurable UDP ports. The port numbers for NTP and time/UDP are fixed at 123 and 37, respectively, as specified in RFC 123 and RFC 37. Additionally, the DNTS-82-OGB supports the broadcast mode of the SNTP protocol.

The DNTS-82-OGB features two 10/100 Mbps adaptive Ethernet ports, which are physically isolated from each other to ensure complete data security. Both ports can be configured to belong to the same network segment or to different segments, providing redundancy: a failure of one port will not affect the normal operation of the other. Each Ethernet port must be assigned an independent IP address.
