Zhongxin Chuang has provided NTP clock synchronization equipment to the National Astronomical Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.


Recently, the National Astronomical Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences issued a request for a clock‑synchronization system. Beijing Zhongxin Chuang Co., Ltd. promptly collaborated to develop a detailed proposal and recommended its self‑developed and manufactured DNTS‑9 model as the bid‑winning product. Following a fiercely competitive bidding process, Zhongxin Chuang stood out thanks to its high‑quality products and comprehensive after‑sales service, ultimately securing the contract for the time‑server project at the National Astronomical Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The National Astronomical Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was established in April 2001 through the merger and reorganization of the former four observatories, three stations, and one center in the field of astronomy under the Academy. It comprises a headquarters and four directly affiliated institutions, with its headquarters located in Beijing. The directly affiliated units are the Yunnan Observatory, the Nanjing Institute of Astronomical Optics and Technology, the Xinjiang Astronomical Observatory, and the Changchun Station for Satellite Observation. The Purple Mountain Observatory and the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory continue to retain their legal status as directly affiliated institutions of the Academy and remain constituent units of the National Astronomical Observatories.

The DNTS-9 network time server, developed by Beijing Zhongxinchuang Technology Co., Ltd., is an intelligent, high-precision NTP network time server. The DNTS-9 obtains standard time information from navigation and positioning satellite systems such as GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and Galileo, and provides standard time services over the network via NTP/SNTP or other network protocols. Devices in the network that require time synchronization—such as personal computers, servers, and controllers—can synchronize with international standard time. When using GNSS satellite receivers, users can define priority levels and configure single-receiver/dual-receiver or single-antenna/dual-antenna setups; each receiver can be set to operate in standalone or combined timing modes. If both receivers and other available time sources lose signal, the DNTS-9 relies on its built-in temperature-compensated crystal oscillator or rubidium atomic clock to maintain accurate timekeeping and continuously provide time services to external clients.
DNTS-9 In addition to serving as a primary network time‑synchronization device, it can also function as a secondary time server, enabling more effective time synchronization across large‑scale network environments. The DNTS‑9 network time server is extremely easy to install and use: simply connect the satellite receiving antenna and link the Ethernet port to a network switch to achieve time synchronization for all devices on the network.
