Recently, the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge issued a tender for time servers. Beijing Zhongxin Chuang Co., Ltd. promptly collaborated to develop a detailed proposal and recommended its self‑developed and manufactured DNTS‑9 model as the bid‑winning product. Following a fiercely competitive bidding process, Zhongxin Chuang stood out thanks to its high‑quality products and comprehensive after‑sales service, ultimately securing the contract for the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge’s time‑synchronization project.
The Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge is a super-large cross-sea passage jointly built for the first time by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao under the “One Country, Two Systems” framework. With a total length of 55 kilometers, it is designed for a service life of 120 years and has a total investment of approximately RMB 120 billion. Preliminary work on the bridge was launched in August 2003, and construction began in December 2009. After more than fifteen years of preparation and construction, the bridge opened to traffic in October 2018.
The main bridge project is constructed, operated, managed, and maintained by the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge Authority, a joint entity established by the governments of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. The border crossings and connecting roadways in each jurisdiction are built and operated independently by their respective governments. The main structure adopts a combined bridge‑island‑tunnel configuration, with a total length of approximately 29.6 kilometers. Of this, about 6.7 kilometers—spanning the Lingding Channel and the Tonggu West Navigation Channel—is tunneled; at both the eastern and western ends, an artificial offshore island has been developed—the Blue Dolphin Island and the White Dolphin Island—resembling a pair of shimmering “Lingding shells.” The remaining section, roughly 22.9 kilometers, consists of bridges, including three navigable cable-stayed bridges: the Qingzhou Bridge, adorned with a “Chinese knot” symbolizing unity among the three regions; the Jianghai Bridge, featuring “dolphin towers” that embody harmony between humanity and nature; and the Jiuzhou Bridge, with its “sail‑shaped towers” evoking the spirit of setting sail.
The Zhuhai–Macao Port Artificial Island covers a total area of 208.87 hectares and is divided into three zones: the Zhuhai Highway Port Management Zone (107.33 hectares), the Macao Port Management Zone (71.61 hectares), and the Bridge Management Zone (29.93 hectares). Each zone is under its own independent jurisdiction. A 13.4-kilometer Zhuhai Connector links the Zhuhai Highway Port to the extended section of the Yuehuan–Nanping branch of the Western Coastal Expressway, integrating the bridge into the national expressway network; meanwhile, the Macao Connector spans the Macao Port via a bridge, connecting to Macao’s newly reclaimed urban area.
The Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge conducted an in-depth evaluation of the DNTS‑9 series time servers independently developed by Zhongxin Chuang, and the results consistently exceeded the specified performance parameters. The bridge also expressed high satisfaction with our product quality and after-sales service, leading to a successful procurement and deployment.
The DNTS-9 network time server, developed by Beijing Zhongxinchuang Technology Co., Ltd., is an intelligent, high-precision NTP network time server. The DNTS-9 obtains standard time information from navigation and positioning satellite systems such as GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and Galileo, and provides standard time services over the network via NTP/SNTP or other network protocols. Devices in the network that require time synchronization—such as personal computers, servers, and controllers—can thereby synchronize with international standard time.
When used in conjunction with GNSS satellite receivers, priority can be configured; the system supports single‑receiver/dual‑receiver and single‑antenna/dual‑antenna configurations, with each receiver capable of operating in either standalone or combined timing modes. If both receivers and all other available time sources lose signal, the DNTS‑9 relies on its built-in temperature‑controlled crystal oscillator or rubidium atomic clock to maintain accurate timekeeping, continuously providing time services to external users.
In addition to serving as a primary‑level network time‑synchronization device, the DNTS‑9 can also function as a secondary‑level time server, enabling more effective time synchronization in large‑scale network environments. It provides high‑precision standard time signals for systems such as distributed networks, computer security systems, file management systems, e‑commerce platforms, online B2B systems, and cloud database storage and maintenance. The DNTS‑9 has been successfully deployed across government, finance, mobile telecommunications, public security, petroleum, power, transportation, industrial, and defense sectors.
The DNTS-9 network time server is extremely easy to install and use: simply connect the satellite receiving antenna and plug the network port into a network switch, and you can achieve time synchronization across all devices on the network.

Client: request interval, deviation exceeding the threshold, request timeout, and so on. NTP Server: Monitors NTP server information, including uptime, synchronization status, network parameters, satellite time, server time, and synchronization with the reference source. Alerts: Alerts can be generated via protocols such as Syslog, SNMP, and email, and you can configure alert types, severity levels, and other parameters to customize the reporting criteria. Statistics: Records all time‑synchronization logs and alarm logs, saving them separately; also tallies the number of clients, their IP addresses, and the request records for each IP. |
