Recently, the Broadcasting and Television Science Research Institute of the National Radio and Television Administration issued a request for proposals for time servers. Beijing Zhongxin Chuang Co., Ltd. proactively collaborated to develop a detailed solution for the client and recommended its independently developed and manufactured DNTS‑9 time server as the bid‑winning product. Following a fiercely competitive bidding process, Zhongxin Chuang stood out thanks to its high‑quality products and comprehensive after‑sales service, securing the contract for the Beidou timing equipment project from the Broadcasting and Television Science Research Institute of the National Radio and Television Administration.

The Broadcasting and Television Science Research Institute of the National Radio and Television Administration was established in October 1958, originally known as the Broadcasting Science Research Institute. In March 1994, it was renamed the Broadcasting Science Research Institute. In October 2002, it was designated by the Ministry of Science and Technology as one of the second batch of pilot institutions undergoing transformation into non‑profit research institutes. In August 2017, it was approved by the Central Organization Department, the Ministry of Finance, and other relevant ministries as a Category II public welfare institution. In November 2018, it was renamed the Broadcasting and Television Science Research Institute. The institute comprises the Television Technology Research Institute, the Wireless Technology Research Institute, the Cable Television Technology Research Institute, the Internet Audiovisual Technology Research Institute, the Information and Security Technology Research Institute, the Industrial Planning Research Institute, and the Testing Technology Research Institute. As of December 31, 2020, the institute had a total of 192 employees, with mid‑ and senior‑level professional and technical personnel accounting for more than 78.6% of the workforce. Among the mid‑ and young‑age technical staff, those holding master’s or doctoral degrees represented 63.9%.
