Zhongxin Chuangwei provides a time synchronization server to Tianjin Bohai Chemical Group Co., Ltd.
Recently, Tianjin Bohai Chemical Group Co., Ltd. issued a request for proposals for time servers. Beijing Zhongxin Chuang promptly collaborated to develop a detailed solution and recommended its independently developed and manufactured DNTS‑8 time server as the bid‑winning product. Following a fiercely competitive bidding process, Zhongxin Chuang stood out thanks to its high‑quality products and comprehensive after‑sales service, ultimately securing the contract for the time‑server project from Tianjin Bohai Chemical Group Co., Ltd.
Tianjin Bohai Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Bohai Group”) is a state-owned enterprise group under the jurisdiction of Tianjin Municipality. Its predecessors include the Jiuda Salt Works, founded in 1914 by the renowned patriotic industrialist Mr. Fan Xudong; the Yongli Alkali Plant, established in 1917; and the Yellow Sea Chemical Industry Research Institute, set up in 1922. These institutions are widely regarded as the cradle of China’s alkali industry and the birthplace of modern chemical manufacturing.
Tianjin Bohai Chemical Group Co., Ltd. conducted an in-depth evaluation of the DNTS-8 time server independently developed by Zhongxin Chuang. The results consistently exceeded the specified performance parameters, and the company expressed high satisfaction with both our product quality and after-sales service, proceeding to place a successful order and put the system into operation.
The DNTS-8 time server, developed by Beijing Zhongxinchuang Technology Co., Ltd., is a high-tech, intelligent, stand-alone clock synchronization server that operates based on the NTP/SNTP protocols and delivers high precision. The DNTS-8 time server obtains standard clock signal information from GPS geostationary satellites and transmits this information across the network, enabling devices requiring time signals—such as computers and controllers—to synchronize with the standard clock. When all receivers lose signal, the DNTS-8 relies on its built-in temperature-compensated crystal oscillator for timekeeping, achieving a timing accuracy of up to 1E-9. The DNTS-8 uses standard clock information transmitted over TCP/IP networks and supports multiple popular time‑broadcasting protocols, including NTP and time/UDP; it can also accommodate custom‑defined time‑broadcast packets with configurable UDP ports, as specified by Zhongxinchuang Technology. The port numbers for NTP and time/UDP are fixed at 123 and 37, respectively, as designated in RFC-123 and RFC-37. Additionally, the DNTS-8 supports the broadcast mode of the SNTP protocol.
