Zhongxin Chuangwei provides a precision clock to the Chengdu Railway Bureau.

Zhongxin Chuangwei provides a precision clock to the Chengdu Railway Bureau.

Recently, China Railway Chengdu Group Co., Ltd. issued a tender for time servers. Beijing Zhongxin Chuang promptly collaborated to develop a detailed proposal and recommended its self‑developed and manufactured DNTS‑82‑RGB clock server as the bid‑winning product. Following a fiercely competitive bidding process, Zhongxin Chuang stood out thanks to its high‑quality products and comprehensive after‑sales service, ultimately securing the contract for the clock synchronization equipment project from China Railway Chengdu Group.

China Railway Chengdu Group Co., Ltd. is China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. One of the 18 railway bureaus under the administration of China Railway, commonly referred to as “Cheng Bureau,” it is located in Southwest China, with a jurisdiction that extends across Sichuan, Guizhou, Chongqing, Zhaotong in Yunnan, and Enshi in Hubei.

China Railway Chengdu Group conducted an in-depth evaluation of the DNTS-82-RGB clock server, independently developed by Zhongxin Chuang. The results consistently exceeded the specified performance parameters, and the company expressed high satisfaction with both the product’s quality and its after-sales service, leading to a successful procurement and deployment.

The DNTS-82-RGB time server, developed by Beijing Zhongxinchuang Technology Co., Ltd., is a high-tech, intelligent, stand-alone clock synchronization server that operates based on the NTP/SNTP protocols and delivers high precision. The DNTS-82-RGB time server acquires standard clock signal information from GPS or BeiDou geostationary satellites and transmits this information across the network, enabling devices requiring time signals—such as computers and controllers—to synchronize with the standard clock. When both GPS and BeiDou receivers are in use, a priority can be set; by default, BeiDou takes precedence, with GPS serving as a backup. If neither receiver has a signal, the DNTS-84-OGB relies on its built-in temperature-compensated crystal oscillator for timekeeping, achieving a timing accuracy of up to 1E-9. The DNTS-82-RGB disseminates standard clock information via TCP/IP networks, while the DNTS-84-0GB supports multiple popular time‑broadcasting protocols, including NTP and time/UDP, and also accommodates custom time‑broadcast packets defined by Zhongxinchuang Technology, with configurable UDP ports. The port numbers for NTP and time/UDP are fixed at 123 and 37, respectively, as specified in RFC-123 and RFC-37. Additionally, the DNTS-82-RGB supports the broadcast mode of the SNTP protocol.

Product dimensions 19-inch 1U
Receiver Built-in GPS receiver
Built-in clock Built-in temperature-compensated crystal oscillator; even when satellite signals are lost, it continues to output a standard time signal.
Liquid crystal display

LCD displays the time in two lines, with 20 characters per line, showing the current time, the number of satellites, and the device’s operating status.

LEDs indicate power status, satellite lock status, holdover operation, alarms, and NTP validity.
