Product Overview
The network time server DNTS, developed by Beijing Zhongxinchuang Technology Co., Ltd., is a high-tech, intelligent, stand-alone, high-precision network time server based on the NTP/SNTP protocols. DNTS obtains standard clock signal information from GPS or BeiDou geostationary satellites and transmits this information across the network, enabling devices that require time signals—such as computers and controllers—to synchronize with the standard clock. When using both GPS and BeiDou receivers, a priority can be defined; by default, BeiDou takes precedence, with GPS serving as a backup. The DNTS‑2N desktop model transmits standard clock information over TCP/IP networks, and DNTS supports multiple popular time‑distribution protocols, including NTP and time/UDP, as well as Zhongxinchuang’s proprietary time‑broadcast data packets with configurable UDP ports. The port numbers for NTP and time/UDP are fixed at 123 and 37, respectively, as specified in RFC‑123 and RFC‑37. Additionally, DNTS supports the broadcast mode of the SNTP protocol.
Installing and using a network time server is extremely straightforward: simply connect the satellite receiving antenna, plug the network port into a network switch, and the entire network will be synchronized.
