    Product Features

    Product dimensions: 1U rack

    Receiving frequency: 1575.42MHz

  • Product Overview

With the advancement of power system automation technologies, the demand for time synchronization has become increasingly urgent, and the required synchronization accuracy continues to improve. Our DNTS‑6A GPS‑based standard time‑synchronization clock is a dedicated time‑synchronization device designed to provide a high‑precision time reference for power system automation. This equipment uses the U.S. Global Positioning System (GPS) as its time base, achieving a synchronization accuracy of 1 μs. It is developed through secondary customization of GPS receiver components manufactured by leading U.S. suppliers. The device can simultaneously track up to 12 GPS satellites within its field of view, automatically selecting the optimal satellites for positioning and timing. It outputs a Beijing Time display synchronized with Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) at an accuracy of 1 μs, and, in a specified format, serially transmits date, time, and other information via its RS‑232 interface, serving various automated devices in power systems that require a standardized time scale.

This device employs microcontroller-based control and a hardware–software integrated design, fully leveraging the capabilities of the GPS receiver module. As a result, the system boasts high reliability, versatile functionality, superior accuracy, excellent cost-effectiveness, and user-friendly operation, thereby fully meeting the time‑synchronization requirements of power systems. Its widespread adoption will significantly advance and enhance automated technologies in power systems, including accident analysis, fault location, and relay protection.
