DNS-18 (a single‑port serial server) is a device‑to‑network server that enables industrial RS‑232, RS‑422/485 serial devices to gain network connectivity instantly. Examples include LED information display units, PLCs, CNC machines, smart electricity meters, gas meters, biometric devices, card readers, and more.
The DNS-18 (single‑port serial server) supports communication interfaces such as RS‑232/422 and 4‑wire/2‑wire RS‑485, and features built-in terminating resistors, enabling it to meet the application and transmission requirements of certain industrial serial devices.
Additionally, a serial‑port power input is available, allowing the serial device to supply DC power directly via a DB25 connector, enabling seamless integration between the DNS‑18 (a single‑port serial server) and the connected serial equipment.
